This wine is made using only fully ripe Delaware grapes harvested in Takahata Town, Yamagata Prefecture in 2021. The fruitiness unique to table grapes brings a different enjoyment that is comparable to wine grapes. This is a fruity and mellow taste that shows new possibilities for Japanese wine.
■Tasting notes
It has the original aroma of Delaware and a sweet pear-like aroma. Although it is dry, you can also feel a mellow sweetness in the depths of the flavor, so you can enjoy it chilled as an aperitif. It goes well with sweet and salty appetizers such as prosciutto and melon, and spicy dishes such as curry. It is fermented slowly at low temperatures. It has a softer, gentler flavor.

Steuben grapes were born in New York and raised in Tsugaru. This wine is made using 100% Steuben grapes harvested in 2019 at Tsugaru Grape Village in Tsuruta Town, Aomori Prefecture. The grapes from this year were particularly high quality, with low natural acidity and strong sweetness that reflect their potential as wine.
■Tasting notes
The sweet aroma adds a pop of accent to the solid, full-bodied taste that spreads gradually. This red wine has great potential for future use, and can be enjoyed with red steaks and meat dishes with rich sauces. As it was born in New York, it has a taste reminiscent of the American Zinfandel variety.
