Steuben grapes were born in New York and raised in Tsugaru. This wine is made using 100% Steuben grapes harvested in 2019 at Tsugaru Grape Village in Tsuruta Town, Aomori Prefecture. The grapes from this year were particularly high quality, with low natural acidity and strong sweetness that reflect their potential as wine.
■Tasting notes: A solid drink with a gradual astringency and a pop accent of sweet aroma. A red wine with exciting future possibilities that can be enjoyed with lean steaks and meat dishes with rich sauces. Born in New York, the taste is reminiscent of American Zinfandel.
