The thoughts behind the label
Hama Wine has a logo that symbolizes the concept. It is a barrel with a tap and a silhouette of a seagull inside it. It is decorated with green, blue, and purple. The green represents the color of leaves and earth, the blue represents the color of sky and sea, and the purple represents the color of grapes. The seagull is one of the symbols of Yokohama and is also the city bird. Just behind the winery is the sea at the entrance to Yokohama Port, with seagulls floating on the water. You can see a line of seagulls perched on the rope of the Hikawa Maru, which is moored in Yamashita Park.

In 2017, the year brewing began, seagulls could be seen silently flapping their wings among the barrels.

And in 2018 and 2019, the seagulls have spun various designs and new wines as the Hama Wine logo.
In 2020, the seagulls will begin to show their individuality. Their individuality will also affect the flavor of Hama Wine.
Yokohama Winery's Hama Wine is taking on the challenge of creating a new type of wine in Yokohama. It will soar high together with the seagulls.
