Returnable bottles will be collected via home delivery using electric motorbikes.

We will start home delivery by electric scooter. As a trial operation, we will deliver wine free of charge to those who live in Naka-ku and Nishi-ku every Wednesday and Friday only.

This action has two purposes.

Point 1: By using electric motorcycles, CO2 emissions while riding are reduced by about half compared to conventional motorcycles.

Point 2: Promote returnable bottle activities, in which bottles from previous deliveries are collected during home delivery.

Returnable bottles are glass bottles that can be reused by returning, washing, and refilling them, and their environmental impact, converted into CO2 emissions, is about half that of one-way bottles that are used only once . In addition, electric motorcycles used for home delivery can reduce CO2 emissions by 40 to 50 percent when running compared to regular gasoline vehicles.

=Specifically... regarding your order=

・Orders can be placed through the Yokohama Winery Online Shop. Orders over 2,000 yen are eligible.
・Please select local delivery (free shipping) from the shipping options.
・Please choose payment by credit card, cash on delivery, or convenience store payment. If you choose bank transfer, the item will be shipped after the payment is confirmed.
・Please collect your parcel in person whenever possible. If this is not possible, please write the method of collection in the memo field. For example, "delivery to a parcel box."
・For the time being, there will be two departures on Wednesdays and Fridays ( 14 : 00-17:00 , 17 : 00-20:00 ). Please indicate your desired delivery time.

=Specifically...About bottle collection=

・Only Yokohama Winery product bottles can be collected.
・If you would like us to collect your bottles the next time you place an order, please let us know the number of bottles you would like collected in the notes section when placing your order.
- Collection requests can also be made by email to our online shop at shop@yokohamawinery.com .
・We will refund 30 yen (for full bottles) for each bottle collected as a return fee.

The collected bottles will be returned and reused as wine bottles after going through the required procedures.
