In November 2019, apples from Momiyama Farm were presented at the Imperial succession ceremony. Through connections with producers that Yokohama Winery's customers have built, they are promoting the deliciousness of apples from Fukushima, where the negative effects of the nuclear plant are still felt.

Fukushima's specialty apples have a high sugar content due to being exposed to the cold outdoors, but they would otherwise be thrown away. In order to allow you to enjoy the full flavor of these apples, we ferment them naturally using the natural yeast found in the apples and turn them into a cider with gentle bubbles that is finished with primary fermentation in the bottle without the use of antioxidants.

Cider is packed with amino acids and polyphenols, and is expected to have skin-beautifying and antioxidant effects, making it a great drink for women.

Hama Wine's apple liquor [Cider] is dry and lightly bubbly. Hama Wine's cider does not use any antioxidants, so it is more natural and less harsh on the body. For those who don't like wine, we recommend this one, as it has a low alcohol content of around 6%. It becomes even easier to drink if you add ice.
