Chardonnay arrived at a winery overlooking the sea from the mountains of Azumino overlooking the Northern Alps. This connection led to us purchasing grapes every year. At the same time, I began visiting Azumino every autumn with my fellow winery colleagues to help harvest the grapes that will be transported to Yokohama. The clear mountains, the blue sky and green trees, and the ripe grapes. We spent happy hours dreaming that one day grapes would grow like this in the fields of Yokohama. Our connection was connected by the keyword "Yokohama." The owners of the field are a couple who moved here from Yokohama. They are always happy to help with the harvest and we have a great time together. The concerto of the sea and mountains connected by Chardonnay will surely resonate again next autumn.

Chardonnay is a very popular variety, also known as the "Queen of White Wines." The grape growers who encountered Yokohama Winery were Mr. and Mrs. Suzuki, who moved from Yokohama to Azumino. The grapes, which are carefully grown in Yokohama, have a deep sweet flavor with the acidity reduced to the minimum. Its soft mouthfeel makes it one of the most popular Hama Wines. The 2022 edition is even more outstanding in terms of taste and aroma! The wine is made using natural yeast without the use of antioxidants. It's a white wine that you'll want to drink again and again.

Moderate acidity. A gentle sweet aroma like pear and honey is impressive. Gentle flavor depth. A soft acidity with a sharp citrus flavor, and a rich taste. The magic of the yeast on the grapes has resulted in a delicious wine in the 2022 season! It has a gentle mouthfeel and goes well with Japanese food in general.
