We are Yokohama Winery, the first Japanese wine manufacturer in the prefecture that has been brewing wine under the brand name "Hama Wine" since 2017 in Yokohama City.
Yokohama Winery produces about 20 types of wine per year. These wines are unfiltered, unsweetened, and contain minimal antioxidants, making them a natural wine. They are easy to drink and have a fruity flavor rather than an alcoholic taste. Another feature that other wines don't have is that they can be easily paired with a variety of foods.
With the aim of increasing the number of fans of Japanese wine in Kanagawa Prefecture, we would like you to add wines produced in Kanagawa and Yokohama to your store's wine menu, so we will be offering them at special prices for a limited time (until delivery at the end of December 2022).
Compared to popular imported wines, Japanese wines have high production costs, so their selling prices tend to be high. In addition, Japanese wine consumption accounts for less than 10% of the total wine consumption in Japan. In these days when the term "local production for local consumption" is commonly used, we wanted people to turn their attention to local products in the world of wine, so we planned this campaign.
Our hope for this project is that restaurants will offer Hama Wine by the Glass at a price that is affordable for customers, allowing the establishments to make a profit while also allowing as many people as possible to experience it.
We are happy to provide you with a tasting in person or a sample bottle. We prefer to do business directly with you, but we are also happy to consider doing business through a liquor store, so please feel free to contact us.
